Says Nawaz to deliver the masses from economic crunch
LAHORE (INP): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz Thursday presided over a meeting of party workers and went over preparations for Nawaz Sharif’s reception.
Maryam Nawaz said that Nawaz Sharif had always led Pakistan out of crises. He made Pakistan the 7th atomic power in the world and the 1st in the Muslim world.
Sharif was intimidated and offered inducements, she said, but he did not compromise on country’s defence and dignity. He it was who said the Pakistanis were a free people and they would remain free, she stressed.
“We don’t accept a life of bondage,” said Maryam who added that it was Sharif’s tradition to take stand for the just cause.
She said that the country needs Nawaz Sharif as he always stood up for the rights of Pakistan and the public. The country needs Nawaz Sharif to get it out of the turmoil.
Nawaz Sharif has fought for the dignity and national interests of Pakistan and he is returning once again to save Pakistan and lead it to prosperity, said PML-N Senior Vice President.
The main agenda of PML-N is to make Pakistan an economic power as they had made it an atomic power.
Maryam said that if two thirds of the public vote for Nawaz Sharif, they will be saved from the sky-rocketing inflation. The public should support Nawaz Sharif as he has supported the public.
“It’s for this very purpose Sharif was returning home and together, we will make the atomic power an economic powerhouse,” she said and added people would vote for Sharif and bring him into power with a two-thirds majority.
Nawaz Sharif would deliver the masses from inflation, she boasted. Therefore, she said, the public should choose Nawaz Sharif to rule to reciprocate his services to the nation.
The chief organiser made the remark while meeting chairmen, councillors and party workers to discuss modalities of Nawaz Sharif’s welcome in Lahore. The chairmen and councillors were from NA-126 and 130.
PML-N leaders Mehar Ishtiaq, Khawaja Ahmad Hassan, Hafiz Mian Nauman, Syed Tauseef Shah, Rana Mashhood and Chaudhry Baqir Hussain were among those who were present on the occasion.
