CHAMAN: The Pashtoon nationalist leaders have stressed that there is a need to forge unity among the Pashtoon nation to face the challenges facing it.
They said that we can confront the challenges being faced by the Pashtoons just through unity among our ranks.
They asserted that attempts are being made to create divisions, but they would not succeed.
The Pashtoon leaders were addressing a public gathering at Bacha Khan Markaz Chaman on Thursday.
Those who addressed the gathering were included: Chairman, PkMAP, Khushhal Khan Kakar, provincial president of Awami National Party, Asghar Khan Achakzai, provincial president of National Democratic Movement, Ahmed Jan, Nasrullah Zairay, Salahuddin Watanyar, Abdul Khaliq Haqmal, and others.
Also present on the occasion were: ANP’s provincial General Secretary, Mabat Kaka, secretary of PkMAP, Faqir Khushhal Kasi, central secretary Finance, Yousaf Kakar, Syed Qadir Agha, Engineer Aimal khan Nasar, besides other leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Khushhal Kakar and other leaders said that Pashtoon Afghan are passing through critical time.
He said that attempts are being made to create differences on the basis of zai and Khaili.
He and other leaders also criticized the rulers for their alleged anti-Afghan policies.
They said that the Afghans would never forgive the anti-Afghan attitude of the government.
They also criticized the alleged unjustified constituencies delimitations by the government and Election Commission.
They vowed to challenge the delimitations together with other parties.
