QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stated that establishment of good governance is conditional with the accountability, transparency and fulfillment of the responsibility by the government departments.
In a statement issued here on Friday, the Governor said that it is big dilemma of our society that that majority of the people are playing active and important role in betterment of the society, but the same people of the labour class are deprived of all incentives and facilities.
Therefore it is need of the hour to bring balance in it and divide the authority and incentives in an appropriate manner so that the society is saved from the confrontation and chaotic situation, adding he stressed.
He regretfully pointed out that the poor growers who provide wheat to the whole society are deprived of two times meal even.
Similarly, those associated with the livestock sector and live in forests, mountains and deserts and provide meat and milk to the entire society are also deprived of the basic facilities even.
Moreover, the teachers whether taught in the schools or colleges and make children of other people respectable citizens are facing certain hardships for earning livelihood and bread for their own children.
The Governor said that the labourers, fishermen, mine workers, night watchmen, peons and low grade government employees are already economically weak and it has become very difficult for them to make both ends meet.
Under the given circumstances, it is necessary to take special steps for the poverty stricken people and provide opportunities of livelihood for them bringing modern reforms in the wealth system.
