Power suspended for hours after tripping of 16 feeders in Quetta city

QUETTA (6 AM Report): Almost hall of the Quetta plunged into darkness after there was a brief spell of rain in the city on Sunday evening.

The rain started at around 04:00 and continued till around 06:00 PM, but it caused fault in the power supply system in different parts of the city.

According to the QESCO sources, at least 16 feeders of the city got tripped following brief spell of rain.

As a result of power suspension, the consumers faced great hardships and problems.

The power supply remained suspended till late night on Sunday.
