GWADAR (6 AM Report): The Gwadar offroad Jeep & bike rally is scheduled to begin today (Tuesday) in Gwadar.
All the necessary arrangements have been made for the mega offroad Jeep rally that would remain continued till October 22.
According to the spokesman of Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), the event is being organized by GDA in collaboration with the Gwadar Motor Sports.
In all 204 racers including 10 foreigners and 10 females are featuring in the offroad Jeep rally for around 250 kilometer track has been prepared.
In addition to the offroad Jeep rally, two separate categories of motorbike race have been included in the rally.
The opening ceremony of the event is scheduled to be held at 04:00 PM today in which the government high ups and functionaries would be participating.
According to the organizers, the event would highlight the economic, cultural and tourism importance in the port city.
This would also help increase the opportunities of livelihood for the local people.
The organizers said that the tourists coming to Gwadar for the Jeep rally would experience scenic beauty of the port city and coast besides its serene environment.
