Pak Coast Guard foils major bid of smuggling of huge quantity of narcotics 

JIWANI (6 AM Report):  The Pakistan Coast Guard (PCG) foiled major bid of smuggling of huge quantity of narcotics from sea-route in Jiwani on Monday.

According to the spokesman of PCG, huge quantity of narcotics was recovered from a speed boat which otherwise was to be smuggled abroad via sea.

The PCG patrolling team got a secret information about the smuggling of narcotics from sea-route. On this tip, a patrolling boat of PCG chased a suspected speed boat in the sea of Jiewani. Instead of stopping it, the smugglers on board accelerated the speed of boat. However, later, they fled after leaving the speed boat at coast of Jiwani.

Later, during search,  833 kilogram of charas and 42 kilogram of ice was recovered.

According to the PCG spokesman, the worth of recovered narcotics is stated to be US$ 2 million in the international drug market.
