QUETTA (6 AM Report): Balochistan Archery Association (BAA), a registered sports association with Balochistan Sports Board, has taken practical steps for promotion of archery game in Balochistan, particularly in Quetta city, by arranging several events of archery discipline in the light of instructions issued by soul and spirit of Pakistan Archery Federation, Wisal Muhammad Khan and President, Balochistan Archery Association, Muhammad Amin Badini. It was stated by Nisar Yadgar Sarangzai, spokesman for Balochistan Archery Association in a statement issued here on Saturday.
He said that “Archery Training Camp” in the lawn of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation was inaugurated by senior journalist and Bureau Chief Daily DAWN, Balochistan on November 26, 2023, adding that dozens of people acquired training of archery in the camp arranged by Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani Archery Academy, Quetta, an affiliated archery academy of BAA.
He said, “Workshop on Awareness and Promotion campaign for “Archery and Darts sports Exclusively for Women Youth” was arranged by Balochistan Archery Association on December 03, 2023 in the conference hall of Quetta Press Club, adding, “Socio-Psycho Support through “Archery” and “Darts” games session” was conducted at Rightway Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre, Sabzal Road, Quetta on December 17, 2023.
Yadgar said that in order to promote archery game at grass root level, Star Shaheen Archery Academy, an affiliated archery academy of Balochistan Archery Association, is going to conduct “One-day-Archery Training camp” in Bund Mitha Chowk area of Pushtoonabad in Quetta city on December 31, 2023 (today), adding that Muhammad Amin Badini, President, Balochistan Archery Association would be the chief guest of one day archery training camp to be held under the aegis of Balochistan Archery Association in Pushtunabad, a dense populated area of Quetta city.
He said that national archery coach Faiz Kakar would impart training of archery upon aspirants.
