Rejection of nomination papers for election without any solid justification undemocratic


QUETTA (6AM Report): Rejection of nomination papers filed for election-2024 without any solid justification was undemocratic and unconstitutional act which was a question mark on the transparency of election.

It was stated by central Naib Ameer, Markazi Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Nazriyati, Moulana Abdul Qadir Luni, central General Secretary, Moulana Ahmed Ali Sani, central Deputy General Secretary, Mufti Shafi-ud-Din, central patron-in-Chief, Moulana Ajmal Qadri, central Naib Ameer, Moulana Abdul Rauf, Najeem Khan Advocate, central Joint Secretary, Moulana Mehmood-ul-Hassan Qasimi, Naib Ameer, Moulana Aziz Ahmed Shah Amroti and central Secretary Information, Syed Haji Abdul Sattar Shah Chisti in a joint statement issued here on Monday.

They said rather than the rule of law, there was the rule of mighty in the country, adding that instead of learning lessons from the mistakes of past, mistakes were being repeated.

They said equal opportunity be provided to all the political parties to take part in the election, adding that undue  interference in the election and favouring dear ones had always made the election controversial in the country.

They said strengthening of democratic system was connected to transparency in election, but unluckily the ego and unserious behaviour of political parties had caused irreparable damage to the country.
