Preparations reviewed for polio immunization campaign in Quetta Division
QUETTA (6AM Report): The Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat has directed Deputy Commissioners of all the districts to improve monitoring of the anti-polio campaign in their respective districts so as to make it a great success.
He also directed to take action against those involved in fake fingers marking and missing children during the immunization campaign.
The Commissioner was chairing meeting of Divisional Task Force for preparations of the upcoming anti-polio campaign here on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of different departments and organizations including Health, Police, UNICEF, WHO besides others.
Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Saad bin Asad, Deputy Commissioners of Chaman, Pishin and Killa Abdullah participated in the meeting through video link.
The Deputy Commissioners briefed the meeting about preparations, performance and other related matters regarding polio immunization campaign in their respective districts.
