PANJGUR (6 AM Report): The Balochistan Food Authority (BFA) continued crackdown against the shops and fast food centres selling the expired and prohibited products in different parts of the province.
According to the official statement issued here on Friday, the BFA teams took action against nine outlets in Quetta and seven in Panjgur.
The expired items including cold drinks, juices, Iranian packets of spices and other confectionery products while the prohibited items seized were included pan parag, gutka.
The action was also taken against the food corners on using old and used cooking oil besides the poor hygiene condition of the workers there.
The shops and other outlets were charged fine by the BFA teams. The owners and other concerned were directed to follow the SOPs of the Authority to run the business, otherwise stern action would be taken against them.
