Nauman demands to address the problems being faced by the BUITEMS
QUETTA (6 AM Report): BUITEMS Staff Association, has demanded of the authorities to address the problems being faced by the BUITEMS, Quetta besides taking notice of the appointment of fake officers and professors. It was stated by Nauman Khan, President, BUITEMS Staff Association while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Friday. Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta was confronting severe financial problems owing to the flawed policies of university’s administration which could be judged from the fact that employees of the university were receiving half salaries.
He said that the foundation of BUITEMS, the second biggest university of the province, was laid 21 years ago, but instead of revenue generating university, the said university was facing financial problems.
He said that professors and employees were being appointed in the university through fraudulent means.
He said that verification of the documents of two Deans and Registrar would reveal the fact as to how merit was violated while making appointments in the university.
He said that grant meant for research had been withheld for the last four years without any solid justification, adding that employees of the university were deprived of their full salaries.
They demanded of the authorities to address the demands of the employees of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta.
