Supreme Court’s verdict about ending lifetime disqualification of politicians welcoming: Jan

QUETTA (6AM Report): The caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai has welcomed the judgment of Supreme Court about ending the lifetime disqualification of politicians under the constitution’s Article 62 (I) (F).

In an official statement issued here on Monday, the caretaker Minister Information said that the justice has been upheld with judgement of Supreme Court.

He said that the politicians have the right to go in the court of people only.

He also said that the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr Justice Qazi Faez Isa has ensured supremacy of law and constituency.

He said that it is not mandate of the courts to make political decisions like the past, rather this authority should rest with the people.

Now the people would decide in the general elections that who is acceptable and who is not, maintained the caretaker Minister Information.
