Nation suffers due to differences and divisions on different grounds: Kakar
We have to promote brotherhood, respect to difference of opinion & religious harmony, stresses Governor
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has underlined the need to promote brotherhood, respect to the difference of opinion and religious harmony in order to make the country and province hub of peace.
The Governor stressed that we desperately need to ensure equal rights for all citizens instead of representing the majority and minority by us.
He said that it is a fact that our topmost identity is of human being and those speak about division on the basis of geography, race, ethnicity or religion is not fair.
These and similar other views were expressed by the Governor while speaking to a delegation comprising the religious leaders from different religions who called on him under leadership of Sardar Iqbal Khilji here on Thursday at the Governor House.
The Governor maintained that we are the habitants of one country and province but the nation suffers internal weaknesses because of the differences and divisions among the people.
Therefore, it is very important for us to end difference in our acts and deeds and build our character on true moral grounds.
The Governor also said that it is our national tradition to share grief and sorrows of each other.
The Governor said that the constitution of Pakistan guarantees equal rights, freedom of religion and expression to all citizens of the country including all religious minorities.
