QUETTA (6AM Report): The caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai has firmly stated that we are ready to hold dialogue with every “angry” Pakistani under the banner of Pakistan.
“Although we had also made offer for dialogue to the “angry” people in Islamabad, but we didn’t get positive response of the offer”, regretfully pointed out by Jan Achakzai while addressing a hurriedly called press conference here at the Civil Secretariat on Monday.
The caretaker Provincial Minister Information mentioned that the people of Pakistan expressed wholehearted solidarity with martyrs of Balochistan in Islamabad.
He also said that the state has faced every eventuality bravely and courageously for upholding the Pakistani flag.
He asserted that Pakistan can’t be deviated from its principled stance through threats and terrorism, and added that those are threating of moving towards mountains must remember we would take them to task whether they hide in the mountains or in caves.
He also said that those giving threats should give up misleading the people, as there is a much difference in their acts and deeds, and everyone knows about it.
Jan Achakzai said that the enemy forces have intensified the terrorism incidents in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhaw as the general elections are nearing. Still, our brave forces are fighting against the menace of terrorism with determination, Jan Achakzai mentioned adding that their masterminds and facilitators are coming in the state’s grip.
While on the other hand, the so-called intellectuals who are moving foreign agenda are compelled to hide their faces after the strong reaction to their negative propaganda.
He also said that the Pak army and Frontier Corps (North) have established peace in Sibi, Sangan, Harnai and adjoining areas.
The Minister Information particularly referred to the Sibi-Harnai railway section that was restored after 17 years in October last year. He recalled that the Sibi-Harnai railway section had been suspended due to terrorism incidents in 2006.
Referring the one-document regime, the Minister Information said that the one-document regime has been enforced at all entry and exit points along Afghanistan border.
He said that the Passport and visa has been declared compulsory for the people coming from Afghanistan and going there at the Noorwahab area at Pak-Afghan border adjacent to Chaghai since January 5, 2024.
However, the business men can continue using crossing as per routine till January 31, 2024.
The Minister also referred to the Quetta safe city project saying that by the grace of Allah Almighty, the project has been completed. The people of Quetta could be benefitting from the important project for we are thankful to the Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Domki who took special interest in its competition.
He on the occasion also stressed the need to provide opportunities to the talented cricketers of Balochistan in Quetta Gladiators.
