Two senior leaders of National Party escape attempt on life

QUETTA (6AM Report): Two senior leaders of National Party survived the major attempt on their lives when unknown armed assailants targeted their vehicle with sophisticated weapons in Dasht area of Kech district on Sunday.

According to the reports reaching here, the National Party leaders including Abdul Rasheed and Kuhdar Akram Baloch were on their way in Dasht Khudan area when some armed men resorted to fire targeting their vehicle.

Although the bullets hit the vehicle, but the leaders of National Party riding in it escaped unhurt in the shootout.

The reports suggested that the vehicle was bulletproof thus the bullets didn’t hurt the leaders of the party.

The party’s Secretary General Jan Buledi confirmed the incident and told that both the leaders remained safe in the incident of firing.

Meanwhile, president of party, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch condemned the incident and said that the party leaders were targeted.

He demanded of the government to provide necessary protection to the party leaders.
