Women and minorities: Candidates’ final list for seats reserved in BA, NA today

QUETTA (6AM Report): The final list of candidates contesting elections on the reserved seats of provincial and national assemblies is scheduled to be issued today (Tuesday).

According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, a total of 64 candidates were in the competition for 11 seats reserved for women in Balochistan Assembly while 32 candidates were contesting elections on the seats reserved for three minorities in the provincial assembly.

Similarly, a total of 28 candidates had filed papers for four seats reserved for women in the National Assembly.
