QUETTA (APP) Central leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), independent candidates from constituency PB-46, Malik Abdul Salam Shahwani and Abdul Wahab Kakar along with hundreds of their colleagues announced to join Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam (JUI) after resigning from PTI.
Malik Abdul Salam Shahwani and Abdul Wahab Kakar announced unconditional withdrawal in favor of candidate Sardar Ahmed Khan Shahwani from constituency PB 46.
They made announcement in supervision of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) candidate for constituency PB-46 Sardar Ahmed Khan Shahwani in a press conference at Shahwani House in Saryab on Tuesday.
JUI’s senior leaders and other workers were present on the occasion.
Malik Abdul Salam Shahwani said that we belonged to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf but PTI did not issue us tickets after which we decided to participate in the general elections as an independent.
He said that the JUI’s candidate of constituency PB-46 Sardar Ahmed Khan Shahwani met us last few days and requested to join the JUI and to withdraw in favor him saying that after which we resigned from PTI along with our colleagues in view of consulting our friends.
I formally announced today my unconditional withdrawal from joining the JUI and in favor of candidate Sardar Ahmed Khan Shahwani from constituency PB 46 of JUI party, he said.
He also appealed to his friends and the public to vote for the JUI’s candidates on February 8.
On this occasion, Abdul Wahab Kakar along with his colleagues Saullah Danna, Rais Junaid, Hanif Aqil, Dr. Malik Nichari, Imdadullah Shahwani and Dr. Habibullah announced to join the JUI.
The JUI’s candidate from constituency PB 46, Sardar Ahmad Khan Shahwani congratulated Abdul Salam Shahwani, Abdul Wahab Kakar and their colleagues for joining the party.
