Caretaker CM condemns Turbat firing incident, seeks report from Home Department

QUETTA (6AM Report): The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has condemned the incident of firing took place at the Regional Election Commissioner office, Turbat on Thursday.

According to an official hand out issued here, the Chief Minister sought the report of incident from the Provincial Home department.

He said that the firing incident is a conspiracy to disrupt the election process. However, the interim provincial government is determined to ensure peaceful conduct of elections in the province, he added.

The Chief Minister assured that peaceful and conducive environment would be ensured for the general public and candidates during the general elections.

He said that the purpose of the incident of firing at office of regional Election Commissioner is to create fear and harassment.

He directed the concerned authorities to mobilize all resources for arrest of the culprits involved in the incident.

He expressed grief and sorrow over martyrdom of a police cop in the firing.

He asserted that the sacrifices of all security forces and police would not go wasted at all.

He also paid homage to the brave soldiers who rendered sacrifice of their lives while performing their duties.
