Thousands of children of Balochistan still deprived of ornament of education in present era of technology: Governor
QUETTA (6AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stated that education is base of every kind of development, and as such we can’t materialize dream of literate province until and unless we make education Centre of policies and projects at the national level.
The Governor stated so in a message issued marking the international Education Day observed on Wednesday.
The Governor said that the objective behind observance of the International Education Day this year is to ensure sustainable peace and harmony by getting education.
He said that the excellent progress of the developed nations is because of the quality education.
He stressed that we should realize that the secret of ending issue of unemployment, overcoming different crimes and promoting economic activities lies in generalizing technical and vocational education.
However, it is unfortunate that thousands of children of Balochistan are deprived of the ornament of education in the present era science and technology even, adding he regretfully pointed out.
The Governor emphasized upon spreading education in the areas where there is still darkness of ignorance and thus educate those who are deprived of the education.
He also underlined the need to highlight the high character and honor of the teachers just because they are the soul of educational system.
In addition to this, the role of educated mothers cannot be overlooked in proper grooming and education of their children, he stressed.
The Governor also called for support and guidance of the national and international institutions for capacity building of the teachers serving in our educational institutions.
