CHAMAN: The Chairman Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Mehmood Khan Achakzai has stated that Pakistan is passing through critical time, what requires from all stakeholders to sit together and decide how to bring real democracy and ensure supremacy of law in the country.
The Chairman PkMAP was addressing the event in which a large number of people announced to join the party under leadership of Noor Muhammad Noorzai in Chaman on Saturday.
Mehmood Khan Achakzai criticized the government for keeping mum on the protest dharna being staged in Chaman for last 110 days.
Expressing concern over the silence and carelessness of the rulers for not paying attention to the dharna which completed 110 days, the Chairman PkMAP said that the people of Chaman are not making any unfair demand , rather they are asking for the opportunity to earn livelihood for their children.
He warned the rulers not to force the people of Chaman to lodge strong protest and restore the Chaman border on the previous terms immediately.
The Chairman PkMAP said that Pashtoons just want authority and control on their resources and nothing else.
He said that Pashtoon Afghans have been a historic nation, but they are leading life as labourers.
Earlier, Noor Muhammad Noorzai expressed the resolve not to hesitate from rendering any kind of sacrifice for the party.
Other leaders of the party also addressed the gathering and urged the masses to vote to the party’s candidates on February 8.
