TURBAT (6 AM Report): As many as nine persons who were stranded in the flood water near Turbat were rescued by the Pak Army and Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Saturday.
According to the reports reaching here those rescued by the rescue teams were stranded for last several hours in Turbat.
The Pak Army jawans took part in the rescue operation shoulder to shoulder with the PDMA.
According to an official handout issued here on Saturday, the rescue operation was initiated with assistance of the Pak Army jawans for rescuing the people stranded in the flood water in Makran Division on special directives of the caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Domki.
The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the timely and prompt action taken by the Pak Army and PDMA teams.
