QUETTA (6AM Report): The caretaker Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Zubair Jamali and Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan visited the control room established in the provincial Home department here on Thursday.
The Minister Home and Chief Secretary reviewed the law and order situation and administrative affairs during the polling process.
Also present on the occasion were Additional Chief Secretary Home, Zahid Saleem, Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, Secretary Local Government Noor Ahmed Pirkani, Director General Levies, Naseebullah, Director General Public Relations, Noor Ahmed Khetran, besides other high ups.
The Divisional Commissioners of Zhob, Loralai, Sibi, Kalat and Rakhshan divisons and Deputy Commissioner Gwadar and Kachhi participated in the briefing through video link.
Special Secretary Home, Nasir Khan Dotani briefed the visiting Minister, Chief Secretary and other high ups about the election process in the province.
The Divisional Commissioners also briefed them about the initiatives taken for polling in their respective divisions.
The Commissioner Quetta informed that the voting process is quire better in Quetta, Killa Abdullah and Chaman.
The Chief Secretary on the occasion inquired from the Commissioners about the voting turn out.
He particularly directed the divisional and district administration to improve the security measures further in the last moments of the polling.
Speaking on the occasion, Mir Zubair Jamali urged the voters to come out of their homes and cast their votes.
He said that all the law enforcement agencies are demonstrating good performance to maintain law and order situation.
