Incumbent Govt. improved administrative & financial discipline, but still more steps required to bring transparency: Governor

QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has emphasized that we have to ensure the mechanism of assessing performance of institutions on regular basis for providing true base to the good governance.

He also stressed that it is also very necessary to establish transparency and system of accountability in the administrative and financial matters of the national institutions.

The Governor was speaking to the Director General Audit Balochistan, Shuja Ali, who called on him here at the Governor’s House on Wednesday.

He said that the fast development and especially it’s impacts on the accounting and auditing has increased the modern and innovative trends.

He said that we can create convenience for all serving and retired officers with use of modern technology.

In this connection, the incumbent government has improved the administrative and financial discipline. However, more steps are required to ensure good governance, adding Governor stressed.

In addition to this, there is also dire need increase capacity of the civil servants to ensure transparent system.

In the end, Director General Audit Balochistan, Shuja Ali presented annual audit report to the Governor.
