Cooperation of parents, political essential for making admission drive successful: DC Miran
SUHBATPUR (APP): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Suhbatpur Mir Miran Khan Baloch said that the cooperation of parents, dignitaries, political, social leaders, journalist community and people of different schools of thought was essential for making annual admission campaign successful.
He expressed these views on Thursday in his message regarding the school admission campaign. Deputy Commissioner Suhbatpur Mir Miran Khan Baloch said that Balochistan was far ahead in terms of education compared to other provinces. We want our young children in schools to decide their own future if these children get education, everyone has to play a role for the development and prosperity of the country and Balochistan, he said. He said that parents should enroll their children in schools so that children could get education.
He said that teachers should continue their hard work for the improvement of education in the province.
The DC said that in this regard, various programs at the district level have been organized by the Department of Education and Education Support Program UNICEF so that every five-year-old boy and girl child was admitted to government school. He said that the data of enrolled children will be asked from all the schools across the district on a daily basis and could be given to Balochistan Directorate of Education Department through SMS.
He said that the education department would ensure the provision of reading and writing materials and books to all the schools in Suhbatpur district every year. Through continuous monitoring every child will be provided with required books and stationery provided by the government, he said. Deputy Commissioner Suhbatpur Mir Miran Khan said that without education no society could progress.
