Governor stresses need to improve performance of all institutions and strengthen confidence of people
QUETTA (6AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stressed the need to benefit from the modern science and technology for fast track development as our overall performance has been slowed down just because we couldn’t benefit from the same.
The Governor said that it takes several months to pass an ordinary file in the government offices, which waste lot of precious time, energy and investment.
This also causes frustration among the common men for long time.
The Governor was speaking to the Vice Chancellor, University Turbat, Professor Dr Jan Muhammad who called on him here on Thursday.
He was appreciative of the initiative taken by University of Turbat about shifting traditional system on solar system and making the communication system digitalized.
He said that improvement can be brought about in overall performance by promoting the spirit of teamwork.
The Governor on the occasion also stressed the need to improve performance of all institutions and strengthen confidence of people in them.
He said that the people can be benefitted well by ensuring transparency and accountability in the institutions.
He regretfully pointed out that the data and particulars of our most of the institutions are not computerized in the present modern era.
The Governor stressed the need to benefit from the modern technology and build capacity to overcome shortcomings.
