CM praises role of PDMA, FC, Forests Dept, local administration and levies force for extinguishing fire in Barkhan forests 

QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has appreciated the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Frontier Corps (FC), district administration and Levies force for extinguishing the fire erupted in the forests at mountains located in Barkhan district.

In an official statement issued here on Sunday, the Chief Minister said that all the concerned overcome the fire through joint efforts, which is appreciable.

He said that we appreciate all employees and jawans who took part in the process of extinguishing fire in Barkhan mountains.

However, he directed the concerned authorities to standby the concerned operational teams in the district headquarter in view of the winds and dry wild grass.

It may be mentioned here that wild fire was broke out in the forests located in the mountainous range of Barkhan district on Saturday afternoon.

However, no loss of life was reported in the fire. Similarly, the loss to any property was also not reported as a result of the fire, as claimed by the Deputy Commissioner Barkhan.
