Governor calls for constructing new building of Medical University soon after acquiring land
Modern and scientific health management system needed:
QUETTA (6AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stressed the need to do a lot to provide strong base to the first ever medical university of the province.
The Governor was presiding over the meeting of senate of Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that issues are not resolved by overlooking the same, rather these increases and aggravate further with passage of time.
He stressed that at the moment we have to construct the new building of Medical University immediately after acquiring the possession of it’s land.
This would pave the way for running the academic and administrative affairs better by launching different health disciplines.
The Governor said that heavy responsibilities rest with the Vice Chancellor of Bolan Medical University and his whole team for making modern and scientific health management system in the province.
He said that Balochistan is a poor province, therefore, the funds should be spent carefully.
He said that one thing is very clear that if we didn’t create new means of income at the level of universities then our higher educational institutions could face new threats.
Those who were present in the meeting were included: Judge of High Court, Mr Justice Abdullah Baloch, Vice Chancellor of Bolan Medical University, Professor Dr Shabbir Lehri, Director General Higher Education Commission, Dr Zahoor Bazai, Principal Secretary to Governor, Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai, Additional Secretary Finance and other members of the senate of Medical university.
