Nawaz Sharif’s image on public flour bags challenged in LHC

LAHORE (PPI): Lahore High Court was moved against Punjab Government’s decision regarding placement of PML-N Quaid’s image on flour bags in Ramzan package.

A citizen namely Munir Ahmed moved a petition in Lahore High Court against Punjab government’s decision and pleaded to the court that government can not use public exchequer for personal publicity.

He urged the court to direct Punjab government to remove Nawaz Sharif’s image from the flour bags. He demanded that Punjab government should distribute ration among masses under BISP programme.
