12 distinguished personalities awarded Presidential civil awards at Quetta  Investiture ceremony

QUETTA (6 AM Report): The investiture ceremony was held at the Governor House on Saturday.
The acting Governor Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai conferred the prestigious Presidential awards on prominent personalities in recognition of the remarkable services in different sectors.
The simple but impressive ceremony was attended by the provincial ministers, members of the assembly, dignitaries from different walks of life besides family members of the recipients of Presidential awards.
In all twelve personalities  who performed and served extraordinarily in different sectors were conferred on the highest civil awards, on behalf of the President of Islamic republic of Pakistan.
Abdul Rauf Baloch, Imtiaz Buzdar, Lal Jan Jaffar and Professor Dr. Abdul Saboor were awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz on public service.
Similarly, Abdul Karim Baryalay was conferred on the Sitara-e-Imtiaz in services in literature.
The former Chief Justice (Retd) Muhammad Noor Meskanzai was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz in the law sector (posthumous)
Moreover, Dr. Mariyum Warzgani, was awarded the Presidential Award of Pride of Performance for services in medical sector while Shakar Bibi was conferred on the Pride of Performance Award on services in art.
Shaheed Mir Muhammad Balaach Nausherwani was awarded the Tamgha-e-Shujaat (posthumous) for extra bravery and valour.
Commissioner Sibi, Bashir Ahmed Bangulzai, Khalid Baqi,
and late Ghulam Qadir Khan Buzdar were conferred on the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
