QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has extended heartiest congratulations to the Hindu community on their Holi festival being observed today (Monday).
In a felicitation message issued here on Sunday, the Chief Minister said that the Muslims also share the joys of Holi with the Hindu community.
Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti stressed the need to generalize the message of peace of Hindu religion to cope with the severe challenges being faced in form of terrorism and law and order.
He said that the Hindu community had been utilizing their full capabilities for development and reconstruction of the the country and their role is appreciable in this regard.
He also said that the government is ensuring protection of the rights of all minorities including Hindu community in the province.
Moreover, implementation is being made on the quota allocated for minorities in the government jobs, he added.
While on the other hand, all the minorities including Hindu community enjoy complete freedom for performing their religious rites and worship all over the country including Balochistan, which is unprecedented.
The Chief Minister urged the Hindu community to include those in the joys of Holi, who otherwise can’t afford to celebrate the festival.
