CM Bugti’s directives: Work started on comprehensive reforms in health sector of Balochistan

QUETTA (6 AM Report): The work has been started on bringing comprehensive reforms in the health sector of Balochistan in order to provide quality healthcare services to all including rich and poor.

Needless to mention here that the comprehensive reforms are being brought in the health sector on directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.

The high ups of government of Balochistan met the higher authorities of Sindh government for introducing the model of standard health institutions running with assistance of Sindh government in Balochistan.

During the course of meeting, there was consensus on bringing the model of Sindh health institutions in Balochistan under mutual partnership.

It may be mentioned here that Secretary Health, Abdullah Khan and Secretary Finance, Babar Khan are on detailed visit to Sindh.

During the visit, they met Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah and discussed with him about the progress for establishing quality health institutions in Balochistan in backdrop of the meeting and consultation held between the Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti.

The Chief Minister Sindh had directed the heads of all health institutions and other concerned high ups to extend full cooperation to make healthcare system more effective in Balochistan.

After meeting with Chief Minister Sindh, the administrative secretaries of the Government of Balochistan also had meeting with Secretary Health Sindh, Rehan Iqbal Baloch and discussed with him about making healthcare system effective through mutual cooperation and partnership.
