It is important for all departments to be on one page for resolving issues of law & order & others: Governor
No one to be allowed to take law in hands:
CHAMAN (By Sardar Khondai) : The acting Governor Balochistan, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai has categorically stated that no one would be allowed to create law and order situation and all available resources would be mobilized for elimination of criminal elements.
The acting Governor was chairing meeting of the district officers of all the government departments, administrative officers and police in Deputy Commissioner office Chaman on Monday.
The meeting focused on the law and order situation and other issues being faced in Chaman.
The Deputy Commissioner Chaman briefed the acting Governor about the issues of the border town.
Moreover, the district officers of all concerned departments also briefed about the law and order situation as well as the issues related to the Pak-Afghan border separately.
Addressing the meeting, acting Governor assured of his every possible cooperation to resolve the issues being faced by all the departments.
He also promised to provide more vehicles and equipment to the district administration to maintain law and order and cope with challenges in this regard.
In addition to this, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai also assured every possible cooperation to meet the requirements and resolve issues of Chaman.
He said that it is important for all departments to be on one page for resolving the issues.
He exhorted the officers and employees of all the departments to use their professional capabilities and serve the masses honestly.
He also urged all the employees to ensure their presence at their duty places and play their effective role in sustainable development of the area besides resolving issues of the masses.
Referring the law and order situation, the acting Governor asserted no one can be given the right to make an attempt to spoil the law and order situation in the province including Chaman.
He said that we would not allow anyone to take law in one’s hand.
If anyone tried to do so, then he would be dealt with iron hands, he maintained.
He said that Chaman is a border district with which necessary interests of trade, commerce and diplomatic interests is associated. He said that we can’t afford to spoil the interests of the country.
He stressed that the criminals and all those involved in theft and dacoities should mend their ways and become useful citizens to play their role in development of the area.
