Sarfraz Bugti extends Easter greetings to Christians; appreciates community’s role for economic growth
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has extended greetings of Easter to the Christian community.
In a felicitation message issued here on eve of the Easter celebrations on Sunday, the Chief Minister said that we equally share joys of Easter with the Christian community.
He said that Easter expresses promotion of social harmony.
Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti referred the role of Christian community in economic development of the province and country saying that the role played in economic development by the Christians can’t be forgotten.
The Chief Minister said that Pakistan is a beautiful bouquet of different cultures and beliefs.
He said that the Constitution of Pakistan has provided complete protection to the rights of religious minorities.
The provincial government also ensures religious freedom and protection to all the minorities including Christian community in the province, he mentioned adding that on this day, we once again reiterates our resolve to work for social development and welfare of all minorities.
