Gynecology Complex unavoidable for provision of health facilities to female patients: Rahila Durrani

QUETTA (6AM Report): The Member Provincial Assembly and former Speaker, Ms. Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani has underlined the need to take steps for establishing a full-fledged Gynecology Complex in the Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital Quetta.

Ms. Rahila Hameed Durrani was chairing a meeting about construction of Gynecology Complex in the Sandeman Provincial Hospital here the other day.

Those who were present in the meeting were included Special Secretary Health, Mujeebur Rehman Qambrani, Head of Surgery Department, Professor Dr. Shoaib Ahmed Qureshi, Chief Executive BINUQ, Professor Dr. Syed Liaquat Agha, Head Gynecology Department, Professor Dr. Uzma Sohail, Medical Superintendent of Sandeman Hospital, Dr. Ishaq Panezai, Professor Dr. Manzoor Hussain, Associate Professor Dr. Marium Shoaib and Section Officer Health, Riasat Ali.

Speaking on the occasion, MPA Rahila Hameed Durrani said that construction of Gynecology Complex is unavoidable for provision of healthcare facilities to the women in Sandeman Civil Hospital.

She said that the facilities of operation, treatment, diagnostic tests, X-ray, CT-scan and ultra sound would be available to the patients under one roof with establishment of Gynae complex.

Meanwhile, the MS Dr Ishaq Panezai briefed Ms. Durrani about construction of the Gynae complex in the Sandeman Hospital.
