Secretary Health appreciates exemplary services of BINUQ; directs to bring more improvement

QUETTA (6AM Report): The Secretary Health Department, Abdullah Khan has stated that Balochistan Institute of Nephro-Urology Quetta (BINUQ) is an exemplary healthcare institution of the province and as such it’s services would be improved further.

The Secretary Health said that we appreciate the exemplary services being provided by BINUQ administration, doctors and other staff to the patients.

However, he stressed the need to hold the meeting of Board of Governors of the Institute on regular basis for monitoring its overall performance and improving it further.

The Secretary Health on surprise visit to the BINUQ on late Thursday night.

He visited emergency room, ICU, wards and dialysis unit where he inspected the attendance of doctors and other staff.

He also checked the list of patients admitted on the counter of Health Card Programme.

Director Admin Balochistan Health Card, Dr. Ahmed Wali briefed the Secretary about free medical treatment to the patients under the Programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Health directed to the concerned high ups to ensure transparency in the financial and administrative matters as no irregularity would be acceptable at all.
