Timely completion of progress projects with standard top priority in Balochistan; Khosa

QUETTA (APP): Balochistan Minister for Communications and Work Mir Saleem Ahmad Khosa on Wednesday said that timely completion of development projects in the province and transparency in their quality was the top priority of provincial government.

He expressed these views while reviewing works of ongoing schemes under-construction Committee Rooms and Offices of Chairman Standing Committee and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hostel in Balochistan Assembly Quetta.

On this occasion, Technical Advisor of C&W Department Mukhtiar Ahmed Kakar and related engineer officers were also present.

Technical Advisor of the Department of C&W Mukhtiar Ahmed Kakar briefed the minister regarding the work of ongoing project and said that the project started in 2022 and would be completed and functional in the same year.

He said in the briefing that the project included an auditorium basement parking with capacity for approximately sixty vehicles, apart from this, there were three floors and two committee rooms in each floor, eight chairman’s offices, eight PA offices, two staff offices, secretary’s assembly office, kitchen and apart from this, a separate place for women and a place for prayer, and a library. The project would be completed and made functional this year, he added.

Provincial Minister for C&W Mir Saleem Ahmad Khosa said that the  projects and the MPA Hostel project should be completed and would make them functional  as soon as possible so that the elected members of assembly and staff could get the fruits of the projects.

Declaring the quality of work of projects as satisfactory, he said that the work of the same standard should be made on all the remaining development projects in the province so that every development work of the province has a unique place in its quality.

He said that no negligence would be tolerated on the standards of ongoing development projects in the province.
