400 children of labourers to be sent to higher residential educational institutions of country, announces CM
QUETTA (6AM Report): The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has announced to send 400 children of labourers to the higher residential educational institutions of the country.
He announced that the children of labourers would also be able to acquire higher education under the Labour Welfare Fund.
The Chief Minister made this announcement while addressing the meeting of Labour and Manpower and Labour Welfare Fund here on Thursday.
He announced that the child of labourer would also study there where child of a rich person studies.
He said that the expenses of education and accommodation of the children of labourers would be paid from the Labour Welfare Fund.
He said that the talented child of labourer would become an officer, doctor, engineer and successful human being instead of a labourer.
He expressed displeasure over that the Labour Welfare Fund s allocated for the province are lapsed instead of utilization. He said that a common Labourer is deprived of the social security because of negligence and lack of interest.
He said that the laws for 19,000 registered labourers don’t match with the ground reality, therefore, there wa need to make necessary legislation in this regard, adding he stressed.
The Chief Minister directed to send viable recommendations to the Law department for wetting within three days in order to make necessary amendments in the laws.
He also announced to send 1000 children of labourers to the higher educational institutions of the country from next year.
