No compromise to be made on timely provision of quality food to masses: Noor Dummar

QUETTA (6AM Report): The Provincial Minister for Food, Noor Muhammad Dummar has stated that the provincial Food Department has decided to procure 0.5 million wheat from the farmers of province for directives have been issued to the Finance Department to release Rs. 5 billion.

He asserted that I negligence would be tolerated to maintain quality of wheat preserved in the province.

In addition to this, no compromise would be made on timely provision of quality food to the masses.

The Provincial Minister was on visit of the PR Center of Food Department here on Monday.

The Secretary Food, Asghar Harifal and former Provincial Minister Sikandar Umrani were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Noor Muhammad Dummar said that it is top priority to provide standard and cheaper wheat to the people.

In this regard, the provincial government has decided to purchase wheat from the growers of the province.

Meanwhile, the Minister inspected the stock of wheat present in the PRC.
