Chief Minister angered over complains of extortion at police & levies check posts

QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has expressed angriness over the alleged complains of extortion at the check posts of police and Levies in the province.

On the issue, taking immediate action, the Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Ziaullah Langove issued letter to the Additional Chief Secretary Home to take action.

The Minister asserted that no extortion would be tolerated at the check posts of Police and Levies.

He mentioned that the Chief Minister has directed to take stern action against the complains about extortion expressing anger .

He warned that stern action would be taken against those involved in the extortion.

He said that the Police and Levies are responsible for protection of the life and property of the people.

He said that we may be informed about any complain in this regard as action would be taken against those involved.

He also urged the masses to cooperate with the government and identify the officers and personnel involved in the extortion so as to dismiss them.
