ISLAMABAD (UNA): For the third time in a row, the federal government is anticipated to lower petrol prices in Pakistan in June 2024.
According to reports, the Middle East crisis has caused a downward trend in international petrol prices, which is likely to result in a reduction of Rs4 per litre. Prices for diesel are probably going to decrease by Rs3.5 per litre.
On May 31, the government is expected to announce the revised tariff for petroleum products. The new prices would take effect on June 1, for the first two weeks of the month.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will decide on petroleum prices in Pakistan after considering the recommendations that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) will submit.
