Prestige of Pakistan in world increased as successful nuclear explosion carried out on May 28: Naeem

QUETTA (APP)-The central senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML- N) Chaudhry Naeem Karim on Monday said that the May 28, 1998, successful nuclear explosion was carried out in Balochistan’s mountains, which increased the honor and prestige of Pakistan in the United Nations.

In statement issued here, he said that the entire nation was proud of becoming a nuclear power saying that by acquiring nuclear capability, Pakistan’s geographical borders were secured and it was possible to fight the war frenzy and aggressive ambitions of an enemy like India.

Today, if we did not have nuclear capability, the enemy could harm us, he said saying that the May 28 was the Pledge Renewal Day. On the occasion of this important day, we offer our heartiest congratulations to the entire nation and the armed forces, he said adding that all Muslims together would celebrate and to highlight the day of the country becoming a nuclear power in a good way so that the enemy of Pakistan would be forced to think a thousand times before looking at it with a blind eye.

He said that Pakistan was the first nuclear country in the world of Islam, therefore, being the only nuclear power of the Muslim Ummah, it was in the eyes of the enemy countries, but thanks to the brave actions of Pakistani forces, no enemy country could even think of aggression against Pakistan.
