Conducive environment & complete protection to be provided to Korean investors in Balochistan, says CM

Chief Minister Bugti & Korean Ambassador agree on promoting mutual cooperation & partnership in different sectors in Balochistan province


QUETTA (6 AM Report):The Chief Minister, Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has invited the investors of Republic of Korea to come to Balochistan and offered investment in different sectors of the province.

The Chief Minister assured that the conducive environment and complete protection would be provided to the Korean investors.

He was speaking to the Ambassador of Republic of Korea to Pakistan, Mr. Park Kijun, who called on him here on Thursday.

During the course of meeting, different matters pertaining to mutual cooperation and promotion of investment in tourism, information technology, livestock and others were discussed.

The Chief Minister and Korean ambassador were agreed on promoting mutual cooperation and partnership in different sectors.

While offering the investment to the Korean investors in different sectors in Balochistan, the Chief Minister said that there is a key role of Balochistan in national economy of future.

There are vast opportunities of investment in the long coast, fisheries, livestock, mines and minerals, besides tourism in the province.

He assured to the Koran Ambassador that every possible cooperation would be extended to the investors coming to invest in the province.

The Chief Minister told the Ambassador that the provincial government has preparing comprehensive plan of providing job opportunities to some 30,000 youth of the province abroad after imparting them different skills.

He appreciated the project of establishment of IT park by Korea and described it an important development towards provision of positive opportunities for youth of the province according to the modern day requirements.

The Chief Minister also said that he values a lot the exemplary relations between Pakistan and Korea and said that these relations would be strengthened further at diplomatic and trade level.

During the meeting, Korean ambassador expressed interest in investment in different sectors including tourism, IT, infrastructure, livestock and fisheries in the province.

He said that Pakistan is a Boquete of different cultures in which Balochistan’s culture is very prominent and different.

He said that Korea is desirous of making investment in different sectors in Balochistan.

In the end, they expressed best wishes for each other and also exchange commemorative souvenirs.
