QUETTA (APP): Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed his resentment on the delay of the result of teaching test under Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (SBKWU) and directed CMIT to conduct an inquiry setback of the result.
The views were expressed on Thursday by the Spokesperson of the Balochistan government in a statement regarding the delay in the results of the teaching test under SBKWU. He said that the CM expressed his anger when the education department did not receive the results of the teaching test.
Shahid Rind said that Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has sought an explanation for not receiving the results so far despite court orders and writing letters to SBK four times, the results have not been provided to the Education Department. He said that the SBK has been found guilty of violating the agreement with the education department in several cases.
According to the agreement, the teaching test was to be conducted by SBK, but these tests were carried out by a third party, as per the memorandum of understanding (MoU), the grievances of the complainants were to be redressed and the results announced within seven days, he said.
Shahid Rind said that according to the memorandum of understanding, SBK was supposed to give the results in May 2023 while the matter went to court in June 2023. He said that the CM also directed to issue a legal notice to SBK University in this regard.
The CM has ordered the Chief Minister Inspection Team (CMIT) to investigate the delay in the matter, he said adding that the government’s position on the issue of the SBKWU test was clear and the court orders would be followed in this context.
He said that the recruitment would be purely on a contract basis and the scrutiny and interview stage to be completed only after the release of the results.
