JI legislator announces separation from GoB

QUETTA (APP): Member Balochistan Assembly Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman on Sunday announced to set in opposition benches in the house.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club, he said he had chosen the government benches with a hope to resolve the issues of Gwadar and not to make assets and get benefits from the government.

He expressed dismay over the non-seriousness of the government towards resolving the issues of the province.

Maulana urged the government to ensure the right of the citizens to hold a peaceful demonstration.

He said that the holding a peaceful protest is the right of every one and the government should also facilitate the protest if it held peacefully.

Hidayat ur Rehman emphasized the government to play a positive role in the current situation and resolve the reservations of the local people.

He maintained that he was always highlighted the issues of the province and will continue to raise the voice of Balochistan at every forum.
