CHAMAN: Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Captain R. Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, held a detailed discussion with Assistant Commissioner President Imtiaz Ali Baloch on maintaining peace and order in the city and combating drug-related issues.
During the meeting, the Speaker emphasized the need to accelerate operations aimed at eradicating drugs and crime, asserting that there should be no leniency or compromise when dealing with drug dealers. He expressed his readiness to provide any necessary support and assistance in these efforts.
The Speaker stated, “The current provincial government’s top priority is to establish peace and security in the province and to protect the lives and property of the public. Without peace, we will lag behind in development and prosperity.”
In response, AC Chaman outlined the measures being taken to rid the city of drug dealers and their dens, confirming that strict actions against criminal elements will continue as per the directives of the Deputy Commissioner of Chaman. “We are committed to ensuring peace and will take all necessary steps to combat drug-related issues,” he stated.
