Revolution can be brought by adopting modern techniques of cultivation on fertile land of Balochistan: Governor
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that Balochistan can surely emerge economically very soon through it’s two sectors including trade and agriculture just because it is located on the juncture of Central Asia, Mideast and Southern Asia.
We can bring revolution by giving access to our traders and industrialists to the trade markets of neighbouring countries and adopting modern techniques of cultivation on the fertile land of the province.
The Governor was speaking to the delegation who called on him under leadership of the Vice President of Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) , Engineer Mir Wais Khan Kakar here at the Governor’s House on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor said that we are well aware of the hardships being faced by the small and big traders and businesses community. He said that people of the province especially traders community have been affected owing to the world epidemic Coronavirus, natural calamities, closure of the borders during previous few years. As a result of which, the present government is taking solid steps for promotion of border trade and economic activities in the province.
The delegation comprising Mir Wais Khan Kakar and Abdul Ahad Agha thanked the Governor on behalf of the traders community especially QCCI.
They said that the Governor Balochistan has always extended wholehearted cooperation to them every time.
The Governor has opened the doors of Governor House for the general public from the day first, and he has raised his voice with the concerned high ups of the federal and provincial governments, the members of QCCI maintained.
They also appreciated the role of Governor in opening of the Taftan border for 45 days saying that he has won hearts of the traders.
