QUETTA (PR): The Honorary Consul General of Japan in Quetta, Syed Nadeem Alam Shah, emphasized the importance of skilled education, stating that individuals promoting technical education in Balochistan are society’s true heroes. He highlighted that technical and vocational education is vital for economic stability and can significantly reduce unemployment by preparing a skilled workforce capable of enhancing national development. He expresses these views here speaking on the occasion, in a meeting with Balochistan IT Director Engineer Aftab Ahmed Baloch and Principal of Government Polytechnic Institute Khanozai, Engineer Abid Ahmed Kasi, at the Japanese Consulate in Quetta. The meeting acknowledged the support of the Japanese Consulate in facilitating Aftab Ahmed’s participation in an IT Architect Training Course in Japan, organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Aftab expressed gratitude to Syed Nadeem Alam Shah for his assistance and shared his reflections on his Japan visit in the consulate’s guestbook. During their visit, the delegation also viewed a display of traditional Japanese Hina Matsuri dolls with the consulate’s director, Israr Ahmed Adeel.
