MASTUNG (6 AM Report): Deputy Commissioner Mastung, Bahram Saleem, paid a surprise visit to the Shaheed Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital on Thursday and praised the hospital’s modern healthcare facilities, calling them a “blessing” for the people of Mastung.
During the visit, the hospital’s CEO, Dr. Aamir Iqbal Raisani, gave the Deputy Commissioner a detailed briefing on the institution’s current performance. DC Bahram Saleem inspected several key departments, including the Emergency Response Center, X-ray unit, laboratory, medicine store, OPDs, wards, dialysis center, and CCU.
He particularly noted the newly relocated Emergency Response Center near the main gate, which he said will provide patients with quick and easy access to treatment. He also reviewed the site of the new trauma center and the ongoing expansion works of the hospital building, appreciating the quality of construction and terming it a major step toward enhancing healthcare services in Mastung.
The Deputy Commissioner lauded the dedication and hard work of the hospital’s management, describing the relocation of the emergency center as a “highly commendable step” that ensures immediate care for patients.
He added that the hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities that play a vital role in promoting public welfare.
District Health Officer (DHO) Mastung, Dr. Anwar, and hospital staff were also present during the visit.
