QUETTA (6 AM Report): Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed his gratitude to the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer for organizing the IT training program “Bano Qabil Pakistan” and said that the provincial government is taking practical and effective steps to make the youth talented so that they could compete at the national and global level.
The “Bano Qabil Pakistan” program would prove helpful in these steps.
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman called on Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti here on Friday here.
Provincial Ameer Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, Central Deputy Secretary General Syed Farasat Shah, Provincial Minister Mir Sadiq Imrani, Parliamentary Secretary Mir Abdul Majeed Badini were also present on the occassion.
In the meeting, the political, social and overall situation of Balochistan as well as the technical and educational development of the youth of the province were discussed in detail, while consensus was reached on comprehensive measures to provide modern IT training to the youth.
He said that the “Youth Skills Development Program” has been launched in Balochistan, under which the first batch of youth has been sent to Saudi Arabia, while the second batch of training is being done for Germany.
The Chief Minister said that development and educational initiatives are being taken forward in the province based on “meritocracy”. Under this policy, 16,000 teachers have been recruited in the education department completely on merit.
He said that during the last two years, 3,200 closed schools have been activated, while 485 new community schools have been established in just two months.
Reforms are also being brought in the health sector. With the cooperation of Indus Hospital, four rural hospitals of the province have been equipped with “state-of-the-art” facilities, he noted.
He reaffirmed that in some areas, medical facilities have been provided at the government level for the first time since the establishment of Pakistan which is a milestone in the history of Balochistan.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by the Balochistan government and said that they are ready for every cooperation to further expand IT programs for the youth.
He said that 12,000 youth of Balochistan have been registered under the Bano Qabil Pakistan program so far, which is proof that the youth of the province are ready to realize their potential, we are very excited to highlight the capabilities.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the development of Balochistan and equal opportunities in the national mainstream are the need of the hour, Jamaat-e-Islami would play its full role at the federal level in this regard.
