Quetta (6 AM Report): The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) Quetta has announced the annual results of the Intermediate examinations. Chairman of the Board, Muhammad Ishaq, congratulated all successful students, their parents, and teachers, stating that “education is the only path to a brighter future for the younger generation.”
According to the official announcement, Sayed Abdul Mateen, son of Sayed Rahimuddin, a student of Government Inter College Killi Harmzai Syedan, District Pishin, secured the first position in the province with 1051 marks.
The second position was jointly shared by Sayed Israr Ahmed, son of Sayed Sadaruddin of Government Inter College Pir Alizai, and Iqra Faiz, daughter of Faiz Muhammad of Islamia Girls College Quetta, who both scored 1050 marks.
The third position was shared by three students with 1049 marks each: Bibi Safa, daughter of Sayed Nasrullah of Tameer-e-Nau Girls College Quetta, Umaima, daughter of Abdul Salam of Cantt Public Degree College Jinnah Town Quetta, and Bibi Adeela, daughter of Faiz Muhammad of Islamia Girls College Quetta.
Chairman Ishaq revealed that a total of 101,193 candidates appeared in the Intermediate examinations, out of which 91,400 passed, resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 90.3%.
In the Class XI examinations, 46,737 students appeared, with 40,363 declared successful, marking a pass percentage of 86.4%. Meanwhile, in the Class XII examinations, 54,456 candidates appeared, out of which 51,037 passed, giving a pass percentage of 93.7%.
